We use data to drive our decisions, and personal relationships and connections to turn those decisions into student success. We have a small town feel in a big time district. We pride ourselves within making every student feel at home and visible daily.

Golden Lake Elementary opened in 1970, originally opened in 1970 and later was transformed into an elementary school.
Achievement
We have a lot to be proud of! Golden Lake Elementary was recognized 6 times as a Minnesota “Rewards” School. This means that its proficiency and growth score were in the top 5% of all MN Title schools. GLE continues to have great success with student growth scores annually.
Supportive Programs
Golden Lake offers robust after-school programming, mentoring, reading buddies, English Language Learners Program, reading support programming, mileage club, and talented and gifted services all designed to support our students and their families.

The Centennial Area Food Shelf Powerpack Program supports families by sending home a weekend bag of breakfast items, individual meals, and snacks for school-age children. Powerpacks are delivered discretely to students participating in the program.
